I’ve dedicated my life to becoming a physics teacher while supporting my disability-challenged family, including my wife who battles type 1 diabetes and POTS. She has worked so hard as a medical assistant, but her illnesses often interfere with her ability to work consistently.
For years, we relied solely on my income as a carpet store manager. But I was deeply unhappy — I had given up on my dream of teaching science, especially physics. Eventually, I left that high-income job to return to school at Arizona State University, determined to finally follow my calling.
At first, I hoped my wife’s income would help carry us through while I studied, but it quickly became clear that her health struggles would make this difficult. Still, we pressed forward. Now, two years later, I am just one semester away from completing my physics degree. Even better, I already have a job offer to teach science to children in a special treatment program here in Montana.
But our journey has not been without sacrifice. We moved back to Montana to help care for my aging parents, and the financial burden has grown heavy. Between medical costs, student debt, and unstable housing, we are struggling to secure the foundation we need.
Our Goals
Buy a safe, stable home for our family in Montana
Pay off my university debt so I can complete my teaching certification
Finally achieve my dream of teaching physics while providing stability for my wife and children
Why We Need Your Help
We’ve come so far, but we can’t take these last steps alone. With your support, we can build the stable home my family needs and allow me to finish my path to becoming a science teacher. Every contribution brings us closer to turning hardship into hope, and sacrifice into opportunity.
If you believe in the power of education to change lives, or if you’ve ever had a teacher who inspired you, I humbly ask for your support.
Thank you for helping us create a brighter future.
